Don’t Be Shy: The World Needs You To Be Your Best

Individual Coaching

Who Is It For?

We are all capable of much more than we realise. While deep-down we might know this, doing something about it is not always so easy. That is where individual coaching can make a real difference.

It might be that there are unidentified blocks which are preventing you from moving forward in the way you want. Or maybe you are going through a period of significant change. Or perhaps you need to take more action.

The focus of the coaching is not to provide you with the answers (I can’t), but rather to share tools and techniques which can help you identify what needs to change and how to do to it. By tailoring these to your particular needs and circumstances, you can access untapped or under-exploited resources (you most certainly have these!) and identify new possibilities for action.

Individual coaching can be life-changing for anyone, whether it is addressing a personal issue or professional performance. But all too often, ‘Personal Development’ can seem to begin and end at someone’s navel. This is not my approach or interest.

My primary focus is on working with people who are seeking not just to change themselves, but who, in doing so, are able to make an even greater contribution to the common good.

This includes policy makers/ politicians, social change workers, artists, social entrepreneurs and people who are working in progressive organisations or sectors.

This does not mean, however, that the issues to be worked on need to be professionally-related, as ultimately most issues come down to personal beliefs and circumstances.

Free Consultation

If you would like to explore how coaching might help you, please get in contact.

We can then set up a free initial consultation (lasting up to 30 minutes) to help us both assess whether we are a good fit for each other.

Some Practicalities

Approach

My approach is outcome and future oriented, as the purpose is to help you to make clear and demonstrable changes.

Timing and Length

A single coaching session can bring significant benefit in terms of clearing up a significant issue. However, this is far from optimal as old patterns can re-emerge if the changes are not properly embedded. As such, a minimum of 3 sessions is generally recommended.

Sessions

A session would normally last 45 – 60 minutes, although an initial session might take longer and follow-up sessions can be shorter.

It can be on-line or in-person, as both are effective.

Costs

Please get in contact for a quote. A discount is available for not-for-profit organisations.
